Hazard description
Issue: On certain trucks equipped with the trailer tow package, a wiring circuit to the trailer tow electrical connector is missing. As a result, the trailer tail lamps won't work when towing a trailer. Safety Risk: Trailer tail lamps that don't work could make the vehicle less visible to others and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your truck to a dealership to add the missing electrical circuit to the engine bay wiring harness.
