2024 Thomas Built Saf-T-Liner C2 School Bus Recall

Issue: On a small number of school buses, the exterior side body panel(s) may not have been attached correctly. As a result, the buses may not meet the joint strength requirements of Canadian regulations. Safety Risk: A body joint that is not strong enough could increase the risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Actions: Daimler Truck North America (DTNA) will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your bus to a DTNA authorized service facility to add additional fasteners to the rear exterior side body panel joints.
