2023 Mercedes-Benz Glc Class Recall

Issue: On certain vehicles, the recovery eye (tow hook) may not screw into the front crossmember properly. As a result, the recovery eye could become loose when a vehicle is being loaded or transported. Safety Risk: A towing eye that comes loose during loading or transport could create an increased risk of crash and/or injury. Corrective Actions: Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect the front crossmember and replace it if necessary.
