Hazard description
Issue: On certain transit buses, the clamps for the exhaust system may not have been tightened properly. As a result, the exhaust could contact nearby components and cause them to melt. Additionally, exhaust gases could leak into the bus. Safety Risk: Components that melt could create the risk of a fire. Exhaust gases that enter the bus could create the risk of injuries. Corrective Actions: Nova Bus will notify owners by mail and provide you with instructions for how to inspect and, if necessary, realign the exhaust system and tighten the clamps.
