Issue: On certain trucks, a software problem could cause the tail lamps to turn off while driving. Safety Risk: Driving without tail lamps in low light conditions could make the vehicle less visible and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to update the body control module software.
