Hazard description
Issue: On certain motorcycles, water could enter the throttle (e-throttle) control unit and cause it to fail. If this happens, the engine may return to idle. Safety Risk: A sudden loss of engine power could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorcycle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the e-throttle control unit.
