The inadequate insulation poses an electrical shock hazard to consumers, though no incidents or injuries have been reported in Canada as of June 15, 2026. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled product and return it to Panasonic Canada Inc. for a refund by calling 1-888-422-6296 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday.
