1983–1984 Volkswagen Jetta Recall

On certain vehicles, the front brake hoses in VW vehicles and rear brake hoses in the Audi 5000 turbo, manufactured by F.A.G., may become brittle under winter conditions. Subsequent cracks may eventually lead to a loss of brake fluid resulting in increased stopping distance during a sudden brake application.
