Hazard description
THE SECONDARY HOOD LATCH MAY NOT BE PROPERLY ADJUSTED WHICH COULD RESULT IN THE SECONDARY LATCH BECOMING BENT. A BENT SECONDARY LATCH COULD CONTACT THE PRIMARY LATCH RETURN SPRING PREDISPOSING IT TO DISENGAGE. IF THE SECONDARY LATCH WAS NOT PROPERLY ENGAGED AND THE PRIMARY LATCH WERE TO DISENGAGE WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION, THE HOOD COULD UNEXPECTEDLY FLY OPEN AND OBSTRUCT THE DRIVER'S VISION. THIS COULD RESULT IN A VEHICLE CRASH WITHOUT PRIOR WARNING. CORRECTION: SECONDARY LATCH WILL BE INSPECTED FOR PROPER ADJUSTMENT AND ALL BENT LATCHES WILL BE REPLACED.
