2000 Chrysler Cirrus Recall

Certain vehicles may have been built with incorrect child lock instruction labels. The incorrect labels direct the user to "pull up to engage" while the correct label reads "push down to engage". The incorrect labels may lead to confusion as to whether the childproof safety lock is activated. If the childproof safety lock is not activated, the door can be opened from inside the vehicle. Correction: Correct labels and installation instructions will be mailed directly to owners.
