Hazard description
On certain Crew Cab vehicles, the fuel filler pipe is mounted to an SMC outer fender that does not provide a ground path for the pipe. If the fuel tank is filled from an ungrounded fuel hose or fuel can, a static build up may occur. This could result in an electrostatic discharge and potentially, a fire. Correction: Dealers will install a fuel filler pipe ground on affected vehicles.
