2003–2004 Autocar Wx Recall

On certain vehicles, testing procedures designed to verify that the ABS brakes are wired correctly and that all hardware is operational were not performed properly during vehicle assembly. As a result, the ABS brakes may have a system fault that may not be detected by the ABS electronic control unit and therefore will not illuminate the ABS warning light on the dash. Correction: Dealers will perform a complete diagnostic test on the ABS braking system to ensure all components and wiring are functioning as designed.
