Hazard description
On certain snowmobiles, the fuel tank could crack around the filler neck. Such a crack could result in filler neck separation which would allow fuel and/or fuel vapours to escape, creating a fire hazard. Correction: Dealers will inspect the area around the filler neck for a crack or any signs of cracking. If a crack is found, the fuel tank assembly will be replaced. If no crack is found, dealer will install an update kit designed to reinforce the area.
