2007–2010 Van Hool C2045 Recall

On certain vehicles, the rearview mirror switch (mounted on the dashboard) may overheat, causing the plastic to melt. An overheated switch may not allow rearview mirror remote adjustability and, as such, the driver may not have full use of the mirrors. In addition, excessive heat can cause smoke within the instrument panel, which could distract the vehicle operator and result in a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will replace the rearview mirror switch.
