Hazard description
On certain vehicles, the brake pressure switch may have been over torqued during manufacturing. After a period of non-use, this could cause the brake seal to leak, resulting in increased brake pedal travel and degraded brake performance, which would increase stopping distances, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will ensure proper torque of the brake pressure switch and replace as necessary.
