Hazard description
On certain snowmobiles, the nut which attaches the front suspension spindle to the ball joint can loosen, causing wear or elongation of the hole on the spindle. Continued operation can result in a corner of the spindle breaking off, allowing the spindle to separate from the upper control arm. Such a failure could result in a loss of vehicle control and a crash. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, tighten the fastener to specifications.
