2021–2027 Western Star 47x Recall

On certain trucks, the recall repairs completed by a Daimler Truck North America (DTNA) dealer during recall F1020 (Transport Canada recall no. 2025-269) may not be effective. As a result, a second repair is required. On certain trucks, the stud on the frame that connects the battery and/or auxiliary power distribution to the starter may not have been installed properly. As a result, there could be a short circuit, and the wiring could overheat and melt.
